Navodaya Admit Card 2026
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the admit card for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, 2026 on 17 November 2025 through the official admission portal. Students who have registered for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class 6 admission in the academic session 2026-27 will be able to download their hall tickets free of cost. The admit card contains essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination centre address, reporting time, and important instructions for the examination day.
Candidates must carry their admit card along with either their Aadhaar Card or a government-approved residence certificate of their parent to the examination centre. No candidate will be permitted to appear in the selection test without a proper admit card. The photograph on the admit card will be matched with the candidate at the time of verification by the invigilator at the examination centre.

Documents Required at Examination Centre
Mandatory Documents: Candidates must bring the following documents to the examination centre on the day of the test.
JNVST Admit Card: Downloaded and printed copy of the admit card with a clear photograph.
Identity Proof: Either the candidate’s Aadhaar Card or a government-approved residence certificate of the parent that was uploaded in the application portal.
Blue or Black Ball Point Pen: Candidates should bring their own ballpoint pens as only blue or black ballpoint pens are allowed for marking answers on the OMR sheet. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited.
Note: Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the selection test without proper admit card and valid identity proof. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure all required documents are carried on examination day.
Examination Centre Information
Centre Allotment: Each candidate shall appear for the selection test at the examination centre allotted to them as indicated on the admit card. No candidate is permitted to appear from any other centre, and no request for change of centre will be entertained.
Reporting Time: Candidates have to be seated in the allotted rooms latest by 11:00 AM. Late comers will not be permitted to appear for the test.
Photograph Verification: The photo on the admit card shall be matched with the candidate at the time of verification by the invigilator at the examination centre. In case there is a mismatch, the candidate must contact the Principal of the JNV concerned immediately.
Exit Time: No candidate will be permitted to leave the examination hall or room till the completion of full allotted time of 2 hours.
Examination Pattern and Structure
Duration: The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. Additional time of 40 minutes will be allowed for Divyang students (differently-abled students).

Minimum Qualifying Marks: Securing minimum qualifying marks in each of the three sections is essential. Candidates must score at least 14 marks in Mental Ability Test, 7 marks in Arithmetic Test, and 7 marks in Language Test to qualify.
Marking Scheme: 1.25 marks will be given for every correct answer. No negative marking will be done for incorrect answers.
Answer Recording: A separate OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet will be provided. Candidates are required to mark or indicate their answers at an appropriate place on the OMR sheet using only blue or black ballpoint pen. No change in the darkened circle is allowed, and striking, applying white correction fluid and erasing on the OMR sheet is also not allowed.
